We spend a lot of time talking about how code ‘should be’. From agile practices, to ‘clean code’, to industry experience, and everything in between, just about everyone seems to have an opinion about what makes code great. Jesse Harlin (@5imian) has been a professional programmer, architect, user group leader and mentor for many years but now he’s going to let us in on his biggest secret: That the most important things Jesse learned about programming he never learned in a CS program or at an industry conference. Jesse learned them from his years of studying music.
